Ana Catarina Mendes has been a Member of the Portuguese Parliament since 1998, and is currently the Leader of the Socialist Party’s Parliamentary Group.
She is the Deputy Secretary-General of the Socialist Party, responsible for coordinating the Socialist Party. The Secretary General is Portugal’s Prime Minister.
Ana Catarina Mendes has a Law degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon and is also a lawyer.
