Roby Nathanson

Dr. Roby Nathanson is the General Director of the Macro Center for Political Economics. He served as Director of the Histadrut’s (Labour Federation) Institute for Economic and Social Research and has been active in preparing programmes aimed at socio-economic structural reform. In 1995 he was chosen to head Israel’s Economic and Social Planning Administration in Times of Peace, in the Prime Minister’s Office. He obtained an MA and a PhD in Economics, specialising in international trade and development, from the University of Köln (Germany).
